Factisk focuses on the core of invoicing and does it well: customers, products, invoices, payments and a PDF that is correct.
Invoices
An invoice follows a fixed lifecycle. Every step is a deliberate action and is recorded.
Statuses: draft, final, sent, paid or cancelled. Overdue is determined automatically.
Gap-free numbering: a number is only assigned on finalising, with a configurable format per company and per year.
Live totals: while editing you see subtotal, VAT per rate and total, calculated by the same service used when saving.
Duplicate: create a new draft based on an existing invoice.
Attachments: add files to an invoice; they can only be downloaded after logging in.
Search and filter: by customer, status, invoice date and text, with sorting and pagination.
Bulk actions: mark several invoices as sent at once.
PDF and VAT
What you send stays fixed. And what you calculate is correct to the cent.
The final PDF is stored and never changes afterwards, even if your company details change.
Drafts are rendered on the fly with a DRAFT watermark, so nobody mistakes them for a real invoice.
Exact amounts: quantities and prices are stored as decimals, never as floating point. Rounding follows ROUND_HALF_UP.
VAT per rate: multiple VAT rates on one invoice, neatly broken down.

Payments
Record what comes in and see immediately what is still outstanding.
Multiple payments per invoice, including partial payments.
Paid and outstanding amounts are always derived from the payments; nothing to track by hand.
The paid status is set exclusively by the payment service, so never by accident.

Customers and products
Record once, reuse on every invoice.
Customers with contact persons, so you know who you are addressing.
Products and services with a default price and VAT rate.
Archive instead of delete, so old invoices stay intact.
Security and management

Log in with e-mail and password recovery via a secure link. Login attempts are rate-limited.
Data strictly separated per company; objects of another company are not visible.
